Another Voltaire Collage of Glitch Art Variations
Layout collage showing multiple Voltaire glitch art variations. (We’ve previously covered Voltaire & Freedom of Speech.) Not sure what this has to do with The Bieb or the Kardashians (nothing we hope) but we’re amused they came up in yesterday’s reader comments in response to another Voltaire photo post (in the Instagram version of that post). In a few centuries Voltaire will still be remembered; less sure about the Bieb. Sorry beliebers. Post and some comments below may be synced from our original Instagram version. Collage progression of glitch art variations of our earlier Virtual Reality fashion feed photo. As we mentioned earlier (on our IG feed), various algorithms can create all sorts of Andy Warhol-style Pop Art effects on the images, including the psychedelic one. The last photo on the bottom right was to date the all-time most popular photo ever on our Instagram feed by a wide margin. Any guesses as to which databend glitch techniques were applied here? A version of this article originally appeared as a photo post on our Instagram feed. (more…)… Read the restUsing analytics to validate startup ideas for products?
Today we look at using predictive analytics to validate startup ideas. First off, the premise of the question is intriguing. We’ve seen social media memes that have gone viral “there is no B2B or B2C. There are only people” superimposed over some sort of feel-good graphic. And the memes have their staunch defends.… Read the restBig Data Analytics: Articles, Movies, Songs Robo-written by Computer?
First in a series of articles on big data analytics This is the first in a series of planned blog articles on applications of big data analytics. We are Internet of Things analytics company, focusing initially on indoor air quality analytics with our AQcalc app. Home environment and health/fitness applications are the first killer applications for the Internet of Things. This is driven by the dramatic price drop in technology that permits everyday appliances, devices, sensors — even traditionally ‘dumb’ and static objects like washing machines, windows, kitchen cupboards, and refrigerator shelves — to be connected to the Internet (see our Cisco CES talk article). Consumers are seeing the first killer applications for these devices in the form of fitness trackers. (The much rumored Apple iWatch may well turn out to be a cross between an iPhone and something like a FitBit or a Misfit Shine.) You have Internet-connected devices such as the Nest learning thermostat or their smoke alarm.… Read the restRecent Posts
