Ask questions now for forthcoming piece on careers in data science!
We’re doing a forthcoming piece on careers in data science! (Forbes article on why this is one of the hottest career paths currently.) If you have questions, now’s time to ask! Do you really need a PhD or masters in a hard science to get into data science? Do you need statistics training, applied math, engineering, and/or CS? What about and parallelism that aren’t taught that much at university? How about an or degree instead? How about an MBA? Do you really need Python, R ,or Sql? (And what are those?) Some of us have interviewed hundreds of prospective data scientists, engineers, project managers, and executives in data science-related areas!
